The hospital?s Labor/Delivery/Nursery wing was completely gutted and reconfigured to provide much more spacious labor & delivery rooms that offer a more home-like atmosphere for patient comfort. Each features its own scrub area, bathroom, family area, and equipment storage (medical equipment is kept out of sight until needed). The remodel made it possible for mothers and families to remain in one room throughout the entire birthing process. Gentle colors, wooden floors and furnishings, as well as soft lighting combine for a better patient experience.
