The NIU Rockford Education Center was designed to provide students with a simulated corporate environment, similar to the offices in which many students will work after graduation.? This professional image also reinforces the center?s role in continuing education and training seminars for the business community.

The facility features several different types of classrooms and spaces, including eight executive-style classrooms, two lecture-style classrooms, five seminar rooms, two computer labs, a 250-seat auditorium, a learning resource center, an administrative office, and a faculty area.
